Web 2.0 Header in Photoshop

In this photoshop tutorial you will learn how to create a simple Web 2.0 header for your website.







Step one:

Start by creating a new document in Photoshop. Leave all the default settings except for the canvas dimensions, use 1000×200 pixels with a white background. Now create a new layer and draw a black rectangle with 950×110 px dimensions.




Step two:

Under Layer Style(Layer > Layer Style) add an Inner Shadow, Satin and Gradient Overlay blending options to your black rectangle layer.













Step three:

Select your Horizontal Type Tool, above your screen under the options palette set the font family to Arial, bold, 30 pt, strong and white color shade. In a new text layer type your website name on the header space.




Step four:

Under Layer Style(Layer > Layer Style) add a Drop Shadow, Inner Shadow and Gradient Overlay blending options to your text layer.
