In this photoshop tutorial you will create a simple 3D Design Web Logo.

Step 1:

Let’s start out by creating a new file. I used a500×500 pixels canvas set at 72dpi, and I filled my background with a white color. Now select the Polygon Tool and above your screen under the options palette choose Fill Pixels, 3 sides and check anti-aliased. Then under the polygon options palette select smooth corners with star unchecked.

In a new layer draw an orange polygon with #FF7800 color shade and 52 x 52 px dimensions.

Step 2:

Under Layer Style(Layer > Layer Style) add a Gradient Overlay blending option to the orange polygon layer.

Step 3:

Create a new layer and draw a black polygon slightly smaller than the orange polygon.

Step 4:

Under Layer Style(Layer > Layer Style) add a Drop Shadow and Satin blending options to your black polygon layer. Then set the layer’s blending mode to Soft Light.

Step 5:

Make a new layer set and name it ‘3D Shape’. Now grab the Pen Tool with Paths on and draw a path line shaped like the triangle with #DC5800 color shade shown below.

Step 6:

Under Layer Style(Layer > Layer Style) add a Gradient Overlay blending option to your triangle like shape layer from step five.
