Step 1:
Let’s start out by creating a new file. I used a 1000×260 pixels canvas set at 72dpi, and I filled my background with #838383 color shade. Now create a new layer set and name it ‘Bossman’. Then in a new layer draw a black ellipse with 109 x 74 px dimensions and cut the bottom half the ellipse.

Step 2:
Under Layer Style(Layer > Layer Style) add an Inner Shadow blending option to your cut out ellipse layer.

Step 3:
Duplicate your long wooden rectangle layer and merge it with a blank layer so the layer styles become permanent. Then resize the height of the copy by a couple of pixels and position it at the bottom of the original.

Step 4:
In a new layer draw a small brown circle with #200900 color shade on the left end of your wooden navigation interface. Then use the Ellipse Tool and create small thick lines on the sides of your circle.

Step 5:
In a new layer draw 2 white ellipse same size as the last one. Then rotate them as shown below.

Step 6:
In a new layer draw a light circle with #FEFFB2 color shade and 63 x 50 px dimensions.

Step 7:
Under Layer Style(Layer > Layer Style) add an Inner Glow and Gradient Overlay blending options to your light circle layer.

Step 8:
In a new layer draw the eyes and the mouth by create 3 white ellipses on the head. Then draw small black circles as shown below.

Step 9:
Now merge down your ‘Bossman’ layer set through Layer > Merge Layer Set. Then under Layer Style(Layer > Layer Style) add a Drop Shadow, Inner Shadow and Inner Glow blending options to your boss design layer.

Step 10:
In a new layer draw a black ellipse on the head then draw a black rounded rectangle on top.

Step 11:
Under Layer Style(Layer > Layer Style) add a Drop Shadow, Inner Shadow, Inner Glow and Gradient Overlay blending options to hat shape layer.
